Kat Take is a design leader and career coach based in Greater Seattle, WA.

Over 15+ years at Amazon and Microsoft, she has built design organizations from scratch, led teams of up to 8, and delivered AI-powered products that reached millions of users. She founded Virtual Try-On at Amazon Fashion, featured in TechCrunch, Vogue, and Fast Company, and holds 4 design patents. Her work spans AR, e-commerce, enterprise tools, workforce systems, and commercial real estate tech.

As a leader, Kat's job is to create the environment where people do the best work of their careers. She applies user-centered thinking not just to products but to her teams setting a high bar for quality while giving people the clarity, systems, and support they need to meet it. What she's most proud of isn't just what ships. It's watching her people grow, get promoted, and go on to lead.

As a coach, she brings that same approach to mid-level and senior UX designers navigating career transitions, leadership development, and strategic career planning.

Outside of work she loves to travel, hunt down great ramen, make panna cotta, and spend time with her family.
